Yesterday I took May Ling, Babs, and Buddy for a run on the Stevens Creek Trail in Mountain View. It was my first run since the marathon, and it felt great to be out moving again. May Ling and I did a 5:1 the whole way (Babs and Buddy were just behind us) and we ended up doing somewhere between 6.5 – 7 miles! Mad props to May Ling and Babs since it was the longest run they’ve ever done. Woo! I had some IT-band tightness, but no full-blown pain, which I’ll take as a good sign.
