MAKE IT STOP
While I enjoy social activities as much as the next person, please to be making them stop, as I am going crazy.
Last Friday we took Justin T. to a yummy Thai place in Sunnyvale for his birthday (Happy Birthday!) . The rest of them karaoke'd afterwards, but I, having to make the many-miled trek back to San Francisco, bailed out after dinner. On Saturday, Amanda and I headed out to Modesto for Ramona's bridal shower, which was fun, but the fun was damped by the fact that driving time == time at shower. What should have been a less-than-2-hour drive turned into a 3 1/2-hour debacle, which was not excellent. Sunday I spent most of the day with my parents, where we visited my Dad's aunt, and I also got a new dress for Ramona's wedding on Saturday. Sunday night we took Rahul to Cha Cha Cha's in the Mission for his birthday (Happy Birthday!), then ended up at Yancy's afterwards. We made a stop at Hot Cookie on the way to Yancy's and got a...shaped cookie. Just keep in mind that Hot Cookie is in the Castro, and you can probably figure out what shape it was. Hint: not a puppy. Monday was awesome, which I'll just leave at that. I had a really fun time all weekend, but the long weekend didn't really feel like a weekend, more like a series of social engagements broken up by long driving times.
Coming up is Ramona's wedding and all surrounding events, so that pretty much books up this weekend, too.
I'm really looking forward to some down time soon, so if you try to make plans with me and I say no, just understand that it's not personal.

+++++
i think enzo will enjoy some down time with you.
Cha x3 has good sangria. They have these huge, sprawling vats of it in the back - kind of bizarre.
