SCRATCH HERE
Here's something I've wondered about sweepstakes that require you to scratch something off of a card. There are the kind that have only one square to scratch off (this post does not concern those), and there are the kind that require you to scratch off a subset of the squares, say 1 out of 2 boxes, as the current Spiderman 3 sweepstakes does.
My question is: when you have a winning card for the grand prize, do they rig the card such that no matter which square(s) you scratch off, you win? Or do you not only have to have a winning card, but also choose the correct boxes?
I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to scratch off a few squares, not win anything, scratch off the rest of them (as I usually do), and discover that you could have won a car.
