ICE COLD
Hung out with Domi & Da Boyz on Friday. While we waited for people to arrive, we watched a bit of Harold and Kumar, and greeted Walter with shouts of "BOOBIES WALTER COME QUICK BOOBIES!!!" (it was the part of the movie with Freakshow's wife) when he got home from work. We had dinner at Shiva's the new(ish) Indian place on Castro. The food was pretty good, but pricey for Indian. Afterwards we had gelato. So very, very cold.
On Saturday Buddy, Marc, and I took a day trip up to Tahoe. We met up with Beck and Adam, who were up there for the weekend. The weather was nice and warm, which made the snow a bit slushy. I ended up having a really good day of snowboarding, and feel like I'm actually improving! I still had my fair share of falls, but I was definitely turning more easily than I ever have before. I think part of this was the total lack of powder on the slopes, making it easier for me not to catch edges. Ridge Run at Heavenly rocks. And you get an awesome view going up the Sky Express lift. On the way back we had dinner at some creperie in or around Sacramento. Thanks to Buddy for driving on the way back, even though he made fun of my car's lack of acceleration from 0-20. 
This morning I was all prepared to check a whole mess o' things off my Palm's To-Do list, but was utterly foiled by the fact that Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Fry's and Office Depot were all closed for Easter. Booo. Instead I watched a few DVR-ed episodes of Scrubs.
OMG. John at work told me about the BESTEST website ever: Abandonia. Tonight I played Freddy Pharkas, Gold Rush, Willy Beamish, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And thanks to DOSBox, I now know how to make all my old adventure games work on my computer. Sweeet!
In a tangentially-related note, I've started to say "OMG" out-loud in conversations. I'm not sure why, but I think I should stop. So very, very nerdy.
