SKETCHY SHA
Today was another not-high-on-the-scale-of-excitement day. I was supposed to wake up at 10 a.m., but when my alarm went off, I realized I didn't actually have any reason to wake up, so I went back to sleep and ended up getting up at noon. After bumming around a while, I headed over to my doctor's appointment, where I learned that my lung capacity is holding at a respectable 85% of normal. After my appointment I took the Metro to the Smithsonian area, and christened my no-so-new sketchbook with a sketch of the back side of the Smithsonian castle. I also took some neat pictures of the sun setting, but again you will have to wait with baited breath until I get back to school, with all its fast connectivity.
I just saw "Making the Video Game: Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers" on MTV which only reaffirms my suspicions that MTV is just one huge perpetual commercial. I did, however, see some people from EARS on TV, which was kind of neat.
In slightly related news, I see that they finally updated the EA Academy website, which includes a dorky quote from yours truly. As Kahn pointed out, I'm both articulate and a kiss-ass. This presenting of myself badly in interviews seems to be becoming quite a disturbing trend with me, as evidenced by the interview I had earlier this summer. I'm glad I'm not a celebrity, as being on a late-night talk show would only end in disaster, and the simultaneous alienation of millions of people. What fun.
