Some of you may have heard the news, so just wanted to let y’all know that I still have my job.
Yesterday was a pretty heartbreaking day, though. At first it wasn’t anyone I knew too well, but in the afternoon, three of my buds from QA came in and told me they had all been laid off. I understand that it was probably necessary from a business perspective, but as our General Manager said at a meeting this afternoon, it sure felt personal.
Ouch. Thanks for posting to say that you’re still employed…I was worried about you. Though hey, if you were laid off we could try to hire you….
Hah, you rock Sha Sha. We’ll be alright because we learned a lot out of working there. I think Phil wants to thank you for breaking that program on purpose to keep him employed while at QA
…although, we haven’t been QA since 4/2004. Dunno why you and Dave keeps calling us that.
