5 points to the first person to tell me where that is from.
Anyway, saw Serenity last Friday, a surprise pick from our very own May Ling (who watched a lot of the fight scenes with her eyes half covered). I liked it quite a lot (perhaps going in with somewhat low expectations helped), and now I’m waiting for Beck to bring in the
Saturday I went over to Aaren’s place to “session” with him and his friend. What this involved was hooking up three turntables and three mixers and taking turns scratching over a beat. Aaren is much better than either of us, but it was still fun and good practice.
